It's A Blog Party!!!!

Hey everybody!

So, I'm entering in this fun blog party hosted by Virtuous Girlhood and Bramblewood Fashion. I'm super excited - I've always wanted to do one of these!!!

So, to enter, you have to answer 10 questions. Sounds super fun! So, here we go!

1. What word are you totally loving at the moment? Confoozled!!! (Bamboozled and confused mixed together.) It's so much fun to say!

2. Any tv shows/movies you are excited for this fall? I'm super excited about The Hobbit coming out in December! I'm hoping to maybe go to the midnight showing...or the first day showing with my grandparents!

3. Anything that symbolizes something to you? Crucifixes. It makes me realize how much God loves us!

4. Two favorite songs at the moment? May it Be by Enya and My Father's Favorite by Patrick Doyle

5. If there was suddenly a world taker over by an evil dictator what would you do? Pray a whole bunch, help those who are being persecuted, and, if God wanted it, die for my faith, freedom, and defending others

6. What is your favorite summer activity? Going swimming with my family/friends, and going on long bike rides with my BFF!

7. What has been your favorite summer vacation? Going to the ocean in Monterey Bay and/or Santa Cruz with my grandparents. We're hoping to go in November, too!

8. If you received an unlimited shopping spree to any store, what store would it be for? Wow...I don't know! Probably Forever 21, or Ross.

9. What is your favorite summertime food? Milk shakes, fruit smoothies, frappachinos, and BBQ chicken!

10. What is your favorite summertime movie? I watched Sense and Sensibility (1995) for the first time this summer - and loved it! I love the music - I even learned some of it on my piano!
I had so much fun answering these questions. Thanks RJ and Ashley for hosting this!!!

My long week, and beautiful sis

Hey everybody!

Have you ever had a week where it felt like you were never home...and then were extremely tired...and then got sick?

Meet my week.

Sunday: Prepared as much as possible for camping without working (since it was Sunday)
Monday: Got up super early, packed up, left for camping - set up camp, swam, stayed up late, etc...
Tuesday: Got up super early, went swimming, got ice cream, stayed up super late.
Wednesday: Packed up camp, left for home, unpacked, went to Walmart to get stuff for my sister's photoshoot in San Francisco (oh...I forgot to tell you guys about that! After I finish complaining, I'll tell you guys all about!), practiced curling my sister's hair for her photoshoot (an hour of burnt fingers, lots of product, and one unhappy sister...), went to bed late.
Thursday: Got up at seven, curled my sister's hair for her photoshoot (another hour of burnt fingers, lots of product, and one unhappy sister...), left for San Francisco at 9 am, spent a fun (but long!) day of picture taking, eating at restaurants, and visiting almost every public bathroom in the city (why, whenever you don't have access to clean bathrooms, do you suddenly and desperatly need to go every other hour???) Got home at 11:30, didn't get to bed until 12:45...
Friday: Went to a swim party, and babysat from 5:30pm till 11:45 (they got home rather late...), started feeling horribly disgusting.
Saturday: Found, to my utter delight (not!) that I have come down with a wonderfully nasty virus. Great.

So, I'm in my pjs, trying as much as possible to do nothing. It's actually kind of nice not to be rushing around - hopefully next week won't be so hectic!

On a happier note...

That photoshoot in SF that I mentioned? Well, a proffesional photographer (Bree Franklin - she's a super nice lady!) wanted to take pictures of a dancer - and she picked my beautiful, talented sister! We were all thrilled!!! (especially my sister - she was ecstatic!) So, we scheduled a date/time, picked a beach, and eagerly awaited the day.

The only problem? Bree wanted Mary-Kate's hair curled.

My sister's hair. Won't. Hold. Curl. I curled her hair with hot rollers, and nearly killed it with hair spray, mousse, curl hold name it, it was in her hair. By the time we met with Bree, it was almost gone. But, luckily, Ms. Bree had changed her mind, and wanted it up, so everything was fine. Actually, she let me do M-K's hair!

It was freezing on the beach, and extremely exhausting, but when we saw one of the pictures Ms. Bree did, it was all worth it. She's only edited one so far - but here's the link to it:

My Beautiful Sis

Isn't that an amazing picture??? It was worth all the tribulation of hair curling, long drive, and freezing wind. I'm so proud of my sister.

Have an awesome day!

Hey everybody!!!

So, I'm literally leaving for camp in 3 excited!!!! Whoo!!! Let's have a party!!

Okay, so these pics have nothing to do with camping...but they're so fun!!! Anyway...

Just wanted to let you ladies know that Bramblewood Fashion is having a blog party this weekend! Yay!!!!!

Doesn't that look like so much fun? I've never been to a blog party before, so I'm super excited - and the prizes look awesome!!
Anyway, I'm going to adios from here pretty soon - so have an awesome summer! Hope you can survive three days without me!!! ;-)

We're off for fun in the sun!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody!

So, I'm not going to be posting/blogging/polyvoring (is that a word?) this week, because - da-da-da-da!!! I'm going camping!!!! We are charging up cameras, MP3 players (it's a long drive from us...ugh...), bought a tent, and are off into the wild!!!!!!

Meet our tent:
Now, we weren't smart enough to test it out beforehand, and since today's Sunday, and tomorrow's camping...we're just hoping our tent is in good shape.

So, I'm looking forward to swimming, diving, and getting lost (I have a horrible sense of direction! It has been a source of teasing every camping trip, due to the fact that I can never find our campsite if I walk a few steps out if it's sight!)

Have an awesome Sunday - and look forward to wonderful (and funny!) pics!

Our Pool (and a new idea)

So, over the summer, I'm going to start "Think in' Talk Thursday." I'm noticing that slowly...very blog is being *dun-dun-dun*

So, hopefully just talking about me, my life, and fun stuff will help me to remember that I do have a blog!!!
Let's see...what to talk about...
Well, over here, it has turned extremely hot!!! As in I'm-melting-into-a-small-greasy-spot-on-the-sidewalk-help-me hot. As in 105 degrees hot. As in it's-almost-too-hot-to-swim hot. As in...okay, you get the picture. :-)
But, luckily, we have - da-da-da-da!!! A POOL!!!!!!!!!! (Notice in my description I said it's almost too hot to swim.)
Our pool - after my dad assembled it

I think this would be so pretty for a wedding...or another big event. I'd love to wear this out somewhere! I'd wear the scarf like a shawl, since I don't like spagetthi tops. (Is that how you spell it? Hmmm...)

Let me know what you think!

Polyvore Success!!!

Hola, amigas!

So, apparently, I've found a way to get rid of following yucky people! Yay!!!

So, now I'm officially in love with Polyvore! It's a super cool site, and I'm finding all these cute clothing items to mix and match. It's been so fun!

So, without further ado: Classic Vintage Girl!!!

What do you think? I would totally love to have this outfit! It's adorable... And the hat...the HAT!!! The pillbox hat! Love at first sight...*sighs*

Look forward to more Polyvore outfits!

P.S. Is there a way to get people to not follow you?

My Polyvore Woes...:-(

Hey everybody!

So, a lot of people have been using something called "Polyvore." And I looked it up, and I thought - WOW!!! How cool is that! So, I set up an account. Little did I know what dissapointment was coming up...

I guess Polyvore automatically makes you follow other people when you first start up...and one of the people I wound up following was called "kidondrugs". Ewww...

So, I'm asking - is there a way to get rid of these people that I really don't want to follow? (and keep these people from following me...) Because if there isn't...bye-bye Polyvore. :-(

I did make one set though  - what I would wear on Fourth of July. (Actually, I just copied these from Polyvore, and then pasted I guess it's sort of like Polyvore...)

I love this outfit - so cute, and classy! Love it!

What are you wearing on the Fourth?
