What I Wore - {A Little Bookworm}

It's just now starting to get cold over here - my feet were longing for their socks! But, I love when winter comes, because I can finally grab all of my sweaters, boots, and layers, and not sweat to death (not that I would...our school's AC works a tad bit TOO well...)

Did I mention a very important fact? The fact that I took my driver's test, and passed w/ flying colors? The fact that I'll be able to drive on December 8th? I'M SO EXCITED!!! My BFF is taking her behind-the-wheel test today...I'm hoping she does well! Dec. 8 is the day mine is...I'm excited, and a tad bit nervous. Thing is, we'll be starting at the delightful hour of 6am. Yes, people, 6am. Not my favorite hour ever...

Well, I hope you all have a fantastic Friday! A revoir, mi amigas! {I know, Spench, or Franish. Interesting, right? ;) }

What I Wore Sunday {Golden Creme}

Hey everybody!

There's something delicious about the word "golden" - it makes me think of the last rays of sunshine as the sun sinks on the horizon...

Anyway, we've had some beautiful weather over here - nice and crisp (but not too crisp!) Perfect for a light sweater and an airy lace scarf.

Earrings: Forever 21
Sweater: Forever 21
Pants: Thrift Store
Scarf: Claire's
Shoes: 6pm
One of my favorite shirts ever - it's sooooo comfy, and classy at the same time! And, this scarf is one of my absolute favorites - it makes me feel so feminine and pretty!
Also, to those who enjoy hunting deals as much as I do: Check out They have $70+ shoes, but if you look in the right spot (like their on-sale section), you can get amazing shoes for way less. One of my favorite shoe shopping places...
Then, my little brother (Joseph) wanted in on the fun:

That smile melts my heart! ♥ ♥ ♥ Love that boy...
So, we're just planning a normal, chill-out day. We usually get back from church about 9am, so we enjoyed a delicious brunch, and now the boys/my dad are watching football, my mom's working on pictures, and my sister's scetching. Not sure what I want to do yet...I'm feeling crafty. Hmm...
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Autumn fun with Polyvore!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, here are some amazing polyvore outfits, done by the genius known as moi...;-)

Passing Time

Purple, Cream and Mustard

Bohemian Beauty

Rose in the Autumn

I'm feeling like I'd enjoy some rain...That would be awesome! I always feel all comfy, cozy, and safe when I can hear the pitter-pattering of the rain as I snuggle under a warm blanket on the couch, clutching some hot chocolate, and buried in two, three, (or if I'm feeling ambitious, four!) books. That sounds nice right about now...

Anyway, look forward to my "what I wore" post today!!!

Happy Sunday, everybody! I'm linking up with this Sunday Style link-up today - fun!

Shirt: Forever 21 ($4.00)
Skirt: J. Crew (Thrift Store - $1.50)
Scarf: Marshalls? Ross? I don't remember... (???)
Shoes: 6pm ($10)
We went to church early this morning, which meant getting up early in the morning, so it was freezing. I stuck on a warm red jacket (not pictured here...felt too lazy to go and grab it. ;-)

I felt so fall/nautical/preppy today! First time I've ever worn this outfit, but it certainly won't be the last. I think I'll wear this to my classes Tuesday...

Speaking of nothing in particular, did I mention I'm turning 15 1/2 in about 2-2 & 1/2 weeks? I'm starting Driver's Ed in a few weeks, too...I'm so excited about getting my permit!

My little bro is urging me to get back to work on the puppet show we're putting on tonight, so I'd better vamoose! Happy Sunday everybody!

P.S. As always, have to thank my mom for taking pics for me. Love ya, Mom! ♥

Back to school...

Hey everybody!

I've been gone for soooooo long! My life's been taking lots of unexpected twists and turns - such as switching from a complete homeschool girl to going to classes at a resource center! Talk about different! Suddenly, I'm balancing homework with dance classes, piano, drama, and my family time.
Well, maybe I don't have a crushing amount of homework...

Summer's at an end - ARGH!!!!! I'm missing it all ready, and I just got through my first week of school. Fun stuff about school - back to school outfits!

Have to go now - bye!

Hey everybody!

I've been gone so long, I feel guilty...but my life has been EXTREMELY busy. We've been getting ready for a yard sale, preparing for the new schoolyear, going thrifting, and more...*sighs*

Hey everybody!

So, I'm entering in this fun blog party hosted by Virtuous Girlhood and Bramblewood Fashion. I'm super excited - I've always wanted to do one of these!!!

My long week, and beautiful sis

Hey everybody!

Have you ever had a week where it felt like you were never home...and then were extremely tired...and then got sick?

Meet my week.

Sunday: Prepared as much as possible for camping without working (since it was Sunday)
Monday: Got up super early, packed up, left for camping - set up camp, swam, stayed up late, etc...
Tuesday: Got up super early, went swimming, got ice cream, stayed up super late.
Wednesday: Packed up camp, left for home, unpacked, went to Walmart to get stuff for my sister's photoshoot in San Francisco (oh...I forgot to tell you guys about that! After I finish complaining, I'll tell you guys all about!), practiced curling my sister's hair for her photoshoot (an hour of burnt fingers, lots of product, and one unhappy sister...), went to bed late.
Thursday: Got up at seven, curled my sister's hair for her photoshoot (another hour of burnt fingers, lots of product, and one unhappy sister...), left for San Francisco at 9 am, spent a fun (but long!) day of picture taking, eating at restaurants, and visiting almost every public bathroom in the city (why, whenever you don't have access to clean bathrooms, do you suddenly and desperatly need to go every other hour???) Got home at 11:30, didn't get to bed until 12:45...
Friday: Went to a swim party, and babysat from 5:30pm till 11:45 (they got home rather late...), started feeling horribly disgusting.
Saturday: Found, to my utter delight (not!) that I have come down with a wonderfully nasty virus. Great.

So, I'm in my pjs, trying as much as possible to do nothing. It's actually kind of nice not to be rushing around - hopefully next week won't be so hectic!

On a happier note...

That photoshoot in SF that I mentioned? Well, a proffesional photographer (Bree Franklin - she's a super nice lady!) wanted to take pictures of a dancer - and she picked my beautiful, talented sister! We were all thrilled!!! (especially my sister - she was ecstatic!) So, we scheduled a date/time, picked a beach, and eagerly awaited the day.

The only problem? Bree wanted Mary-Kate's hair curled.

My sister's hair. Won't. Hold. Curl. I curled her hair with hot rollers, and nearly killed it with hair spray, mousse, curl hold name it, it was in her hair. By the time we met with Bree, it was almost gone. But, luckily, Ms. Bree had changed her mind, and wanted it up, so everything was fine. Actually, she let me do M-K's hair!

It was freezing on the beach, and extremely exhausting, but when we saw one of the pictures Ms. Bree did, it was all worth it. She's only edited one so far - but here's the link to it:

My Beautiful Sis

Isn't that an amazing picture??? It was worth all the tribulation of hair curling, long drive, and freezing wind. I'm so proud of my sister.

Have an awesome day!

Hey everybody!!!

So, I'm literally leaving for camp in 3 excited!!!! Whoo!!! Let's have a party!!

Okay, so these pics have nothing to do with camping...but they're so fun!!! Anyway...

Just wanted to let you ladies know that Bramblewood Fashion is having a blog party this weekend! Yay!!!!!

Doesn't that look like so much fun? I've never been to a blog party before, so I'm super excited - and the prizes look awesome!!
Anyway, I'm going to adios from here pretty soon - so have an awesome summer! Hope you can survive three days without me!!! ;-)

We're off for fun in the sun!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody!

So, I'm not going to be posting/blogging/polyvoring (is that a word?) this week, because - da-da-da-da!!! I'm going camping!!!! We are charging up cameras, MP3 players (it's a long drive from us...ugh...), bought a tent, and are off into the wild!!!!!!

Meet our tent:
Now, we weren't smart enough to test it out beforehand, and since today's Sunday, and tomorrow's camping...we're just hoping our tent is in good shape.

So, I'm looking forward to swimming, diving, and getting lost (I have a horrible sense of direction! It has been a source of teasing every camping trip, due to the fact that I can never find our campsite if I walk a few steps out if it's sight!)

Have an awesome Sunday - and look forward to wonderful (and funny!) pics!

Our Pool (and a new idea)

So, over the summer, I'm going to start "Think in' Talk Thursday." I'm noticing that slowly...very blog is being *dun-dun-dun*

So, hopefully just talking about me, my life, and fun stuff will help me to remember that I do have a blog!!!
Let's see...what to talk about...
Well, over here, it has turned extremely hot!!! As in I'm-melting-into-a-small-greasy-spot-on-the-sidewalk-help-me hot. As in 105 degrees hot. As in it's-almost-too-hot-to-swim hot. As in...okay, you get the picture. :-)
But, luckily, we have - da-da-da-da!!! A POOL!!!!!!!!!! (Notice in my description I said it's almost too hot to swim.)
Our pool - after my dad assembled it

Us swimming around
So, now you see what I look like when I'm not all dressed up :-)

My bro looking cute - and knowing it, too!
We'll be swimming tonight - super fun!!!

So, there's my first "Think in' Talk Thursday." What did you think? (no pun intended. :-)

P.S. Hopefully I'll have a surprise to share with you in next post!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed...
