Oh, yeah, my recital went great! The first night was the most fun - it was the most scary! I like being nervous for performances...weird, right? So, I'm going to get my mom to email me pictures, so I can post them up! Probably tomorrow...so, check back!

Other exciting news: Lizzy, from Pretty Modest asked me to guest post for her! Not sure when I'll be doing it, but I'm super excited! Whoo-hoo!

Just an update on my life in general...;-)

So, here is my life update ;-)

Tonight, I have my dance recital! Ooohh....I'm getting butterflies in my stomache just thinking about it! I'm super excited, and super nervous at the same time! Yesterday was the dress rehearsal, and it went really well, though, so I've got no reason to be nervous...I hope... ;-) We tried to take pictures, but, my mom's camera wasn't cooperating very well, so no good ones of us...:-( But, she'll be trying again tonight, so maybe I'll have some to post up tomorrow!

Another fun thing - my BFF, Cassie Z (don't ask me why I made the Z like that...I felt like it. *giggles*) is coming on a sleep-over tonight! Whoo-hoo!!! Super excited! I've known Cassie for about 8 - 9 years now (wow...almost a decade! I feel so old...) and we are total "soul sisters" or whatever you call it. We actually just did this really fun 1950's sort of photoshoot with my mom. Cassie did all the research, I did our hair (I'm really into hair-doing) and made Cassie's skirt, we both designed our outfits, and Cassie did the makeup. Only thing my mom had to do was take the pictures!

We brought our old-fashioned bikes on the shoot. That was soooooo fun!!!! These pics are super cool, because they actually show how we act together a lot.

Going on long bike rides (once in a Colonial dress! Talking in English accents! Getting stared at by everybody! Good times...)

That photoshoot was so much fun! We're planning another one in the near future, and if I'm feeling extra generous, I just might post up a picture or two...or three...or four...

Just wanted to share that with you guys! This was so much fun! Mom did an awesome job with these pictures. I think she had as much fun as we did!

Blue Munchy is a stuffed hamster, and so is Sunny. He's blue with purple spots, and Sunny is all like a light color. Blue Munchy has purple spots and has blue stuff and purple spots on him. And he's a hamster. And Sunny and Blue Munchy has little tail but Sunny's is little smaller. And Sunny and Blue Munchy has friend, and it's called Pink Munchy. He's a hamster and he's just pink. And there's hamsters that are just pink, and there's blue hamsters. There's Sunnys at the store too. And that's all. Hope you enjoy this, everybody! Bye!

Today was one of those hair days...hair didn't want to do anything that I wanted. So, I did a Katniss Everdeen (Hunger Games) braid, since that's supposed to be messy. Suddenly, my hair wanted to be neat and tidy...

Hey everybody!

Day 12 already...can't believe it, and yet so glad. I'm ready to delve back into my pile of old shorts, find a raggedy top, and spend a day looking completely un-stylish. ;-) Actually, being stylish is really fun!

So, day 12; (yes, I know this outfit looks rather similar, but this shirt only goes with khaki; trust me...)

Hey everybody!


So, my younger sister, Mary-Kate (13) came out with my mom and me, so we decided to take a picture or two of her outfit, and post it up. Doesn't she look cute?

I have no clue what brand all of this stuff is - I'll check later, and let you know! I can tell you, though, she made the earrings. Cool, right? She looks really pretty!

And, here's my Day 10 outfit:

Mom said that I looked retro, so I went and got out my "retro" glasses. They desperately need adjusting, but for a photo shoot - perfect! (BTW, in this picture, I felt a little bit like a waiter. ;-)

My mom, who's been taking/editing these pics for the last 10 days, as I sat and hovered over her while she edited, asking her 10 times a minute how close they were to being done...for some odd reason said today, "I feel like a slave to this challenge!" Why on earth would she say that...;-)
